Darryl & Lori Martin
Pastors
Pastor Darryl has a doctorate in psychology and pastoral leadership. Having served in ministry for over 30 years, there isn’t much in the way of Christian ministry that Pastor Darryl and his wife Lori haven’t been involved in. They married in the early eighties and entered full-time ministry in 1986. Since that time, they have pastored 3 congregations. Darryl has his education in pastoral psychology, theology, and christian chaplaincy. Lori earned her degree in religious arts in christian leadership and community organization. Darryl is an ordained minister with Independent Assemblies of God out of Blackwell, Oklahoma, and they both are accredited “Accelerated Christian Education” directors. Darryl also holds a certification in professional chaplaincy.
Pastor Darryl’s accomplishments include founding a Christian school, a recovery center, serving as a Youth Pastor, Pioneering Pastor, and as a Lead Pastor for 31 years. Darryl also holds a Real Estate license and served as a Public Figure in the Office of Maury County Tennessee Commission, as a Commissioner, for one full year. He also holds the seat of Vice President as a Board Member of “Eden Shores Recovery” located in Panama City Beach, Florida.
Jesse Hopes
Elder
Jesse and Theresa Hoppus have been married since April 2008 . Jesse works in Logistics and the transportation industry for 30+ years, and has been with the church and on the worship team since 2002. Accepted an Elder position in 2013. Theresa is a 23 year veteran in the health care system, Started at new life in 2006. Became a part of the worship team in 2015 running sound and
working side by side on the worship team and as an Elders wife. We have four children all with wonderful spouses and currently 5 grandchildren with one on the way!
Philip McMullan
Elder
Philip has been with Chalice Church for almost 2 years. He has lived in the community for 9 years, is a founding member of the Pray Maury team and is active with the Maury County Chamber of Commerce. Philip is the Managing Partner of Appalachian Management Systems (AMS), which provides “Basic Agency” support for State and Federal agencies administrating federal grants.
Roger Redman
Elder
Roger has been blessed to be a part of Chalice, formerly New Life Church, since 2002, shortly after moving to Tennessee from Florida. Roger served as the House Director of Access To Recovery, our A & D Recovery Ministry. He presently serves as an Elder with ministry emphasis in Sound and Media. He works as a construction foreman in Franklin, TN. and resides in Duck River. Roger says, "I'm 53 and determined to live by faith until the Lord calls me home!"
Lydia Johnson
Lydia is the Chalice nursery director.
