WHAT IS CHALICE WORSHIP?
The worship ministry at Chalice is at the heart of all we do. We define “Praise and Worship” as the place where we meet with God in Spirit. We employ skilled singers and musicians to lead in a variety of music genres and musical sounds. You may hear anything from modern contemporary music, to Hymns.
Who is the Holy Spirit?
At Chalice we welcome and encourage the full operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We are eager to be vessels for the Spirit to work through when manifesting Himself to the Body of Christ. Praise and Worship sets an environment conducive for Him to work through, by preparing our hearts to hear His voice. Holy Spirit is a person, and as He leads, we follow.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
You may hear loud music, shouts of praise, crying or laughing, and even tongues and or prophesy as the Lord wills. We do however understand how to maintain order in the Biblical way. For this reason our pastoral staff are sensitive to the Holy Spirit and work compassionately to direct those who may be learning in a proper manner. Confusion is of the devil and peace and light from God. We believe order is in effect whenever the authorities of the house are maintaining the direction under the influence of His Spirit. You can be confident that disorder is not allowed.
